Tron (1982)
Did this pioneering sci-fi adventure light up the grid, or should it be derezzed? We dive into Tron (1982), the groundbreaking film that transported audiences inside a digital world like never before. Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), a computer programmer, gets pulled into a virtual realm where he must team up with security program Tron to take down the tyrannical Master Control Program. With dazzling (for its time) visuals, a synth-heavy score, and cult-classic status, Tron changed the game for computer effects — but does it still hold up today?
To find out Ben and Sheldon’s reviews and thoughts, watch the full episode now!
But how would we rate it?
![]() | Isaac's Rating Hide it in the attic “This was a groundbreaking movie for its time. But to be honest I don’t have the urge to watch it again. I still recommend watching if you haven’t seen it, but I’m content with not seeing it again." |
Seth's Rating Leave it at Grandma’s “Nostalgia reminds me of being a kid again. But I am going to leave it Grandma’s simply being it didn’t age well.” | ![]() |

📚Uncle Seth’s Corner - Diary of a Wimpy Kid! (2010)
Today on Uncle Seth's Corner, we’re diving into the awkward, hilarious world of Diary of a Wimpy Kid! Middle school can be rough, and no one knows that better than Greg Heffley. Armed with his "diary" (it's a journal, thank you very much), Greg navigates the ups and downs of growing up—from friendship drama to embarrassing moments, clueless parents, and the ever-mysterious Cheese Touch. Whether he's trying to get popular, survive family vacations, or just make it through the school year in one piece, Greg’s misadventures are as cringe-worthy as they are laugh-out-loud funny. With relatable moments, cartoon-style fun, and a lot of heart, Diary of a Wimpy Kid is the perfect pick for a family movie night that’ll have everyone saying, “Been there!” Don’t miss out on the laughs—watch now and relive the chaos of middle school all over again!
