When he spots the perfect pop-up book to give his Aunt Lucy, he takes on odd jobs to save up for it. But when the book is stolen and Paddington is framed for the crime, he finds himself behind bars. Now the Brown family must work together to clear his name and catch the real thief—a washed-up actor named Phoenix Buchanan with theatrical schemes of his own.

We gave this one an outstanding 4.5 out of 5 stars! Paddington 2 does the nearly impossible—it matches the fun of the first film and might even surpass it. If you loved the first one, you'll love this. Hugh Grant is absolutely phenomenal as Phoenix Buchanan, leaning fully into scenery-chewing villainy with hilarious musical numbers and disguises—he's clearly having the time of his life. The characters pick up right where they left off, feeling like a real family, and Paddington continues spreading kindness wherever he goes. The prison sequence is comedy gold, the animation remains gorgeous, and the message about how one small bear's optimism can change an entire community is beautifully executed. Warm, funny, exciting, and just as charming as the original. A worthy sequel that proves this franchise is truly special!
