Camp Nowhere (1994)

Camp Nowhere is a family comedy about a group of kids who want to escape the boring, overly structured summer camps their parents have picked out for them. Led by crafty teenager Morris "Mud" Himmel, the kids hatch a plan to create their own parent-free summer camp where they can do whatever they want. To pull it off, they enlist the help of a quirky, down-on-his-luck drama teacher named Dennis Van Welker (played by Christopher Lloyd) to pose as the camp director and fool their unsuspecting parents.

What starts as a carefree, rule-breaking paradise quickly spirals into chaos as dozens of kids show up and word of their secret camp spreads. The kids build tree forts, eat junk food, and avoid all responsibility — but as the summer goes on, they realize that total freedom comes with its own set of challenges. Full of classic ‘90s humor, mischief, and heart, Camp Nowhere remains a nostalgic favorite for anyone who dreamed of the ultimate unsupervised summer.

So, how would we rate it? *watch the full episode to see Ajax review!

“I found myself laughing at some parts, but the adult themes were a little too much for me. Not a terrible movie but also not memorable to me."
