Paddington 2 (2017)

Paddington 2 is a heartwarming 2017 film that follows the continued adventures of Paddington Bear in London. When Paddington wants to buy a special pop-up book for his Aunt Lucy's he takes on various odd jobs to earn money. However, the book is stolen by Phoenix Buchanan, a washed-up actor, and Paddington is wrongly imprisoned for the theft. While in prison, he befriends the inmates (particularly the prison cook) with his marmalade sandwiches and kind nature, while his adopted family, the Browns, work to clear his name and expose Buchanan's scheme to use the book's hidden clues to find a secret treasure. The film masterfully blends comedy, adventure, and touching moments about family and belonging, earning widespread critical acclaim as a rare sequel that matches or even surpasses its predecessor.
