Good Burger (1997)

Good Burger is a wacky comedy that follows the misadventures of Dexter Reed, a high school student who crashes his teacher’s car and needs a summer job to pay for the damages. He reluctantly takes a position at Good Burger, a quirky, small-time fast food joint run by an eccentric crew—including the lovable but clueless Ed, who lives and breathes all things Good Burger.

Things heat up when a flashy new burger chain, Mondo Burger, opens across the street and threatens to put Good Burger out of business. But when Ed creates a secret sauce that becomes a customer favorite, Good Burger finds itself back in the game. With plenty of slapstick humor, outrageous antics, and classic '90s charm, Good Burger delivers a goofy underdog story about friendship, loyalty, and standing up to corporate greed—with a side of extra pickles.

But how would we rate it?

Isaac's Rating

Hide it in the Attic

“Nickelodeon’s ‘All That’ was a big part of the 90s to me and this film oozes it. But between the acting and adult language/themes it actually took me out a little, and didn’t age very well. I had a few laughs but I don’t plan to revisit this one anytime soon."

Seth's Rating

Take it home!

“It’s a 90’s classic for everyone who grow up in that era. For me it is pure nostalgia.”
