Now, let's dive into everything we know about Zootopia 2...

Zootopia 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the 2016 animated hit that captured hearts worldwide. Directed once again by the dream team of Jared Bush and Byron Howard, this buddy cop comedy brings us back to the mammal metropolis we fell in love with—but this time, there's a whole new side of the city to discover.

Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman return as our favorite crime-fighting duo, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, alongside Idris Elba and Shakira reprising their beloved roles. The cast gets even better with exciting newcomers including Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Patrick Warburton, and Quinta Brunson.

The story follows Judy and Nick as they investigate Zootopia's newest and most mysterious resident: a reptile named Gary De'Snake. What starts as a routine case quickly unravels into something much bigger—the discovery of an entire reptile population living as a hidden underclass beneath the city. It's a premise that promises to expand the world of Zootopia in thrilling new ways while tackling themes of inclusion and community that made the original so powerful.
